Rancho Cucamonga

Rancho Cucamonga is located in San Bernardino county, just south of the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains. It is one of several suburb communities that sit along the I-10 Corridor and its neighboring cities are Upland, Ontario and Fontana.  As many cities of the Inland Empire, it is centrally located to the beaches, mountains and Los Angeles and Orange County entertainment areas.

The population was estimated by the Census Bureau to be nearly 178,000 in 2019 and over 42,000 housing units within the city.  Rancho Cucamonga averages approximately 287 sunny days per year and on rare occasions may see snow in the winter.  The community has four different school district that provide many k-12 schools and four high schools including Alta Loma High School, Etiwanda High School, Los Osos high School and Rancho Cucamonga High School. Colleges in the area are Chaffey Community College, and satellite campuses for Cambridge College, University of Redlands, University of Phoenix and Everest College.

Its proximity to freeways including Hwy 10, Hwy 210 and Hwy 15, the Ontario airport  and several transportation centers has made this area attractive to industry. The largest employers for the Rancho area include Inland Empire Health Plan, Etiwanda School District, Chaffey Community College, Alta Loma School District and the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
