Jurupa Valley
The City of Jurupa Valley is located in the Inland Empire to the North of Riverside where it runs from Hwy 60 to the East and Hwy 15 to the West. The Santa Ana river flows through the area.
The weather in Jurupa Valley is similar to other cities in the IE with cool winters and hot summers. On average, January is the coldest month with average temperatures in the mid fifties and the hottest month is August with average temps in the 90s.
The city of Jurupa Valley was incorporated July 1, 2011 although it has a long history as home to Native Americans. Much of the area used to be part of the City of Riverside. Population in the community is just over 103,000.
The area is a mixture of residential development, rural farming, commercial retail and industrial businesses. Residential growth and retail activity has increased considerably in the areas adjacent to the I-15 and Hwy 60 and there is room to continue this growth.
